Art Resistance provides training to suit a range of needs and budgets. We can design a workshop to suit your specific requirements. This investment can pay dividends, as rather than subcontracting, you or your staff can create video content to stream on the web.
WE PROVIDE
  • Skills training for organisations: Involves skill development for one or more people from a particular organisation. Staff develop skills in producing video content for streaming on an organisations website. Skill can include script writing and planning, camera, sound and lighting skills, editing, compressing  and streaming video content.
    Training can run from 2 to 4 hour sessions up to a few hours a week over a series of weeks or months. It can range from basic training to high level skills. 

  • Group or client  training workshops: these are provided to people who learn the basics of film making - script writing, camera, sound, lighting and editing. The group training can involve anywhere from two half day sessions up to 10 or more days. During this time the group will produce a video program.
    TAFE Outreach, Department of Corrective Services, Youth, Migrant, Mental Health and Local Government organisations have all worked with Art Resistance on skilling clients and producing a video program as a part of that training. 

  • Client collaboration workshop:  This is where an organisation engages Art Resistance to produce a video program and at the same time engages Art Resistance as a part of that project to train up staff members or clients in video production skills while producing that video program for their organisation.  The staff member(s) will be trained while working with Art Resistance professionals on an actual production of a video program. The skills development can be in scriptwriting, production management, filming, lighting or it can be in editing a video program. 
The training can occur using our equipment or your own equipment.

Our training equipment includes various cameras, mikes, lights tracks, autocue plus a portable studio with various colored backgrounds including chroma key which can be set up at your premise or ours to help generate content for the web. We also have a number of final cut pro edit suites which can be configured at your premise to help edit content.

Developing skills within your own organisation can ultimately save your organisation money, as it provides skilled staff who can produce content to get your message across.
